Jamestown Lichen

All my lichen is ethically sourced.  This means I get it from the ground after it's fallen from the trees.  This makes foraging after a storm the most wonderful, exciting time.   Lichen has been used for dye as far back as the Vikings....and is hugely popular in Ireland and the UK.

Jamestown Lichen is a soft ochre in color in color.   Sometimes I am able to get rust and even pale ochres.  If I have those, they will be listed under a separate category.  If you love soft, rich color, Jamestown Lichen deserves a try.  

I will custom dye a batch for you if you'd like more than 4 skeins, to try to get as much color uniformity as possible. It's stunning =)
